Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has joined family, associates and well wishers to congratulate Major General David Jemibewon (Rtd) on his 81th birthday celebration.
The Speaker said it is heartwarming to celebrate a man of strong character and an accomplished military officer who made Okun nation and indeed Kogi State proud while he served the nation in various capacities stressing that his footprints in the Ministry of Police Affairs as a Minister under President Olusegun Obasanjo and earlier old Oyo State Military Governor are still indelible.
He said Major General David Jemibewon (Rtd) has carved a niche for himself looking at his monumental contributions to the overall development of the nation while in positions, stressing that Kogi State is happy to have someone of his calibre, praying that God in His infinite mercy shall continue to grant him good health to live long for the benefit of humanity.
It is on this note that, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, on behalf of his family, Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, the entire members of the 7th assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly felicitate with and congratulate our father and community leader, wishing him a happy birthday celebration.
He prayed that God would grant him more years ahead in good health and prosperity.
