The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman on Thursday, 16th February, 2023 joined academic stakeholders in a one-day retirement symposium jointly organized by Bayero University, Kano and Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba.
The one day symposium held at Bayero University, Kano was jointly organized to mark the 70th birthday and retirement celebration of the erudite scholar, Professor Mohammed Sanni Abdulkadir who spent 42-years of his life in meritorious service.
The Professor of Economic History served Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba as Vice Chancellor between 2016 -2020 and recorded a remarkable imprints in Academic, Administive and infrastructural greatness.
The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic described the jointly organized Symposium as a home-coming for him owing to the fact that it had been decades since he left the citadel of learning, Bayero University, Kano, as an undergraduate student.
He appreciated the led management team of the Institution for the beautiful work put in place and for sustaining the Institution’s pride as widely known.
Dr. Usman warmly congratulated the erudite scholar – Professor M.S Abdulkadir – for his attainments while describing him as a successful and an accomplished professor in the Academic Field, adding that his 42 years of service was not just remarkable but also impactful, result-oriented and successful.
Greeting him on his 70th year birthday, Dr. Usman prayed for his continued sound health, all round sustainance and God’s immeasurable blessings.
The one-day retirement symposium had in attendance notable alumnus from and among different walks of life.
