Kogi Polls: Steel Minister casts his vote, commends process

 

The Honorable Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu has commended the peaceful conduct of the governorship elections in his country home, Ogbonicha, Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State as at the time of exercising his franchise.

Audu who also doubles as the Director-general of the Kogi All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Campaign Council casted his vote during the Kogi Off-Cycle Elections at his Ogbonicha Polling Unit 1.

The Minister commended the seamless electoral process by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the peaceful conduct of members of the community.

Audu also commended the electoral umpire for timely commencement of the process, with all materials intact as observed by the voters.

“I want to commend INEC Officials for sticking to the rules of engagement; the timely conduct of the process and for ensuring all sensitive and non-sensitive materials were all intact.

The Minister who joined the queue among other voters urged the people to maintain the same level of peace and orderliness until the end of the process.
