Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Kogi Command attached to Anyigba Area Command while on stop and search operations along Idah-Anyigba road on 12th August, 2021 intercepted one Mohammed Bako of Koton -Karfe in a commercial vehicle with two (2) AK-47 rifles, 41 rounds of ammunition, one (1) locally made Baretta Pistol, 6.7 MM ammunition hidden in a sack. The suspect confessed ownership of the arms and ammunition. Investigation is being intensified. Suspect will be arraigned in court on completion of the investigation.
Members of the public are assures that the Command is determined to work in synergy with other security agencies in the State to ensure adequate security of life and property.
