Kogi PDP Rules Out Challenging Local Government Election …. Commend State Party Executives For Commitment, Steadfastness


 

The Kogi Peoples Democratic Party State Caucus leaders have ruled out
the option of litigation after the Council polls.

 

The Caucus said it would amount to a waste of time challenging faceless candidates who are just the Governor’s appointees and not elected representatives of the people.

Captain Idris Wada led the caucus of the PDP made the disclosures after a meeting held with the State Executives, said the time does not call for blame games, rather time for members to make needed sacrifices so that the party can move forward.

Similarly, the caucus commended the State Party’s Executives for their steadfastness and commitment in piloting the affairs of the party.

The caucus at the meeting said participating in the Council election has further exposed the weaknesses of the ruling APC, made a joke of the APC as a Party that ran away during the Council election to avoid the defeat of her life.

The Party leaders said it is now very obvious that APC is dead in Kogi State, laughed at the sudden running away of the APC from the polls when it became obvious that the PDP would win all the Council seats.

The caucus says it has taken notice of the financial constraints of the party, commended them been able to operate under strigents condition just to keep the party alive.

In a statement signed by Achadu Dickson, Director Research and Documentation of the PDP, said the meeting was attended by former Governor’s, leaders and major stakeholders of the party across the state with the State Executives of the Party.
