The Chairman of the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Mohammed Sanni Gambo, has congratulated the new Idah Federal Constituency candidate, Hon. David Idris Zacharias, on his overwhelming victory at the party’s primary election.
Gambo described Zacharias’ emergence as “another expected win for the PDP” ahead of the 2027 general elections, noting that his two-term mandate was a direct result of his good work and service to the people.
“If he was not good, he wouldn’t have had such an opportunity twice,” the Chairman said. “With his wide acceptance across Idah, Ibaji, Ofu and Igalamela/Odolu, 2027 for Idah Federal Constituency will be a walkover for Hon. Zacharias.”
He urged constituents in the four LGAs that make up Idah Federal Constituency to rally round the PDP, both at the federal and state levels, expressing confidence that the party will return to power after the 2027 elections.
