Kogi NUP Chairman Appeals to Senior Colleagues to show understanding, Patience


 

Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union of pensioners have advised Senior retired colleagues to sustain activities that would strengthen the growth of the Union in the State.

Engr. Clement Ohinda Made the call while speaking with News men in Lokoja.

The Chairman of Kogi State council of Nigeria Union of pensioners Engr Clement Ohinda said collective understanding by members of the Union was important to the growth of the body.

He described the Actions of some retired head of service and permanent secretary’s who are agitating as important to freedom of expression adding that the current Officials are working round the clock to improve on the take home and welfare of members across civil service in the state.

Engr Clement Ohinda appealed to the senior citizens of the body to be patient with the state Union pointing out that frantic efforts is on to address issues raised.

He called on the federal and state government to improve on the payment of it’s members to compete favourable as other states in the country.

He called on members to remain supportive to the activities of the body, reiterated his determination to move the union to greater heights.
