Kogi NULGE Boss Emphasises Reflection, Renewal in
Easter Message, greets Christians, Gov. Ododo.

The Kogi State President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Comr. Mohammed Sanusi has sent a message to Christians, particularly those who are employees across the State on the celebration of the 2025 Easter.

Comr. Sanusi task Christians to apply the essence of the occasion as lessons for the country.

He urged Christians to reflect on the lessons of Easter celebration, saying they should not lose hope amidst the economic headwinds in the country.

Sanusi in his Easter message in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, stated, “I heartily felicitate with our Christian faithful, particularly Local Government workers as we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Easter is a time for reflection, love, sacrifice, renewal and hope.  I urge that we use this opportunity to ponder on the lessons and purpose of the celebration and renew our resolve towards achieving a more progressive and prosperous Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.

“As a people, we may have been stretched beyond limits, occasioned by the high cost of living and other economic headwinds, but we must not lose hope. Working together in unity, we can overcome these challenges and place our state and country on the path of sustainable growth and development.”

The Kogi NULGE Boss congratulated Christians, Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for witnessing yet another Easter, pointing out that the coming of Gov Ododo has remained a blessing for LG workers in the State.

He praised him for the prompt payment of salaries and the promise to conduct and cash back promotion as heart warming, urged LG workers to use this year’s Easter to pray for the success of the present administration in the State.
