Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ is to honour Doctor Arome Salifu, Chief Executive Officer and founder of the Africa Youth Foundation, AYGF, with the NUJ Community/Philanthropy Award.
Doctor Arome Salifu is one of the few personalities nominated for the prestigious award following his contributions to the advancement of the society.
Addressing newsmen in Lokoja, Chairman of the Kogi State Council, Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh said the investiture will be held at the Grand finale of the 2023 Press week holding on Wednesday, 16th August.
According to the Council Chairman, the event will hold at the Edge Drive Hotel, Lokoja, beginning at ten O’clock in the morning.
Already, arrangements have reached advanced stage towards hosting a successful Press Week, with special attention to the grand finale.
