The Project Coordinator Kogi State
Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, has sent a message of congratulations to Gov. Yahaya Bello on the history and epoch making in signing into law the Law establishing the Kogi State NEWMAP.
The Project Coordinator, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, in a statement said with a deep sense of gratitude, wished to sincerely and profoundly congratulate the purpose driven, people oriented, unrivaled pace- Setting and detribalized Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his assenting and signing the Bill establishing Kogi State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency.
She expressed satisfaction that with the unrivaled history made by the State Governor, it has changed the face of the organization which was only a project before now.
The Project Coordinator added that by this singular act that is anchord on undiluted desire of His Excellency to mitigate soil erosion, enhance agricultural development, secure resourceful environment and harness the State’s water resources, Gov. Bello has secured his name in the Hall of Fame.
The Project Coordinator equally thanked the State House of Assembly for the accelerated passage of the Bill described it as unprecedented.
She explained that the remarkable and commendable achievements of Kogi NEWMAP is borne out of the tenacity, unrelenting and unflinching support of the achievements driven administration towards ensuring that human tragedies arising from natural disasters occasioned by erosion are averted.
She added that the achievements is indeed a direct testament and affirmation of Gov. Bello’s impeakable attributes that are a reflection of a golden fish that has no hidden place.
The epoch making decision to increase the capacity of Kogi NEWMAP the Project Coordinator added will no doubt open a greater channels of achievement and place Kogi State on a global map for exceptional resourcefulness.
