Kogi LG Polls: Assembly Speaker Commends SIEC on Smooth Conduct of the Voting Process


 

Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has commended the State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) on the smooth conduct of the ongoing council elections in the state.

The Speaker gave the commendation while speaking to newsmen shortly after he casted his vote at Gbeleko unit in Egbeda Ward of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

According to him, SIEC has shown to be an organization that have the capacity to organize a free, fair and credible Elections, stressing that the peaceful manner at which the process runs is a clear testimony of the concerted efforts of the umpire.

He commended the people for coming out enmass to cast their votes without any intimidation or harassment, noting that the security arrangements is super.

He noted that his party APC will be victorious across the 21 Local Government Areas and the 239 wards in the state.
