Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of the New Hijrah Calendar 1445 which starts on Wednesday.
The Islamic body in a statement jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye implored Muslims to use the occasion to make positive resolutions aimed at ensuring peace in the state.
JNI in the statement called for fervent prayers for a hitch free Governorship election in November, stressing the need for enhanced unity among the Kogi Triangle.
The Statement further congratulates Governor Yahaya Bello and his cabinet, wishing them well in the new Islamic year.
