has prayed for a successful outing for the APC and its candidate in the governorship election.
The Traditional Ruler made the disclosure when he received in audience the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) who was on a visit to seek for his Royal blessings.
The visit is in continuation of his statewide consultations ahead of official commencement of campaign activities for the November 11th guber polls.
The Traditional Ruler assured Alhaji Ododo of his support and prayers, adding that he (Ododo) is eminently qualified to take the baton of leadership from Governor Yahaya Bello who he said has done well in areas of security and infrastructural development.
The Obaro urged for a peaceful campaign, described power as given by God, wished the APC Flagbearer well in his aspiration.
Alhaji Ododo who led his team to the ancient town of Kabba said he was in the palace of the revered monarch to officially inform him of his ambition to govern the state and sought his royal blessings.
The candidate expressed appreciation to the monarch for his invaluable contributions to the development of his domain and Kogi State in general, assuring that the place of traditional institution in governance will never be relegated when he gets elected as the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
The APC Flagbearer assured of quality leadership that would provide the much talked about dividends of democracy to the people, assured that he will run an all inclusive administration.
While promising to build on the achievements of Gov Yahaya Bello who the APC Flagbearer described has met with the yearnings and aspirations of the people, promised to build on the level of development in the State.
