… Flags off APC Governorship Campaign
President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence of an All Progressives Congress win in the forthcoming Governorship election, hinged his optimism on the competence of the Candidate.
President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, represented by Vice President, Kassim Shettima, expressed confidence at the official flag off of the Kogi State All Progressives Congress Governorship Campaign in Lokoja, said people of the State cannot afford not to align itself with the policies and programs of the present administration.
The President urged the people of Kogi State to support the all APC Governorship Candidate in the State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo to enable the state key into the eight point agenda of the present administration.
He urged the people of Kogi State to build on the legacy’s of purposeful continuity by aligning themselves with the centre through voting for the APC in the forthcoming Governorship election, described the APC Governorship Candidate as having the competence, character to lead the state.
” The people of Kogi State can only benefit from the eight point agenda by staying with the APC so that they can benefit from the natural resources and other plans we have for the State “.
” I urge Kogi people to elect a patriotic personality in the person of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo to enable us actualize our plans for the State “.
” We are committed to the construction of Ganaja road with the release of funds. Lokoja Abuja as well as Kabba Ilorin Road which our administration is set to give attention “.

” This is to promote and protect the interest of Kogi State. The resuscitation of Ajaokuta by our administration is in fulfilment of job Creation, creating direct foreign investment, production of CNG buses in our administration’s Gas master plan following the Removal of Fuel Subsidy “.
While noting the the Ajaokuta Steel Company has the potential to create 500,000 jobs , said efforts to delineate the State as a free trade zone is underway, urged the people of the State to vote for the APC in the coming Governorship election.
The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Chairman Campaign Council, described APC as the only party in the State, urged the people not to make mistake by not aligning with the party in the centre.
” I urged you to vote for consolidation by voting for the APC Governorship Candidate to enable him build on security, infrastructure, education and several achievements of Gov Bello”.
” The APC will sustain the trajectory of development in Kogi State. Don’t vote for strangers”.

” In Kogi we have only one party and that is the APC”, expressed optimism that with the massive defection into the APC from the opposition political parties, Ododo will emerge victorious.
Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the All Progressives Congress National Chairman urged for unity of APC members in the coming Governorship election, described the state as an APC State.
” Without mincing words. The only party in Kogi is the APC. We have all it takes in mobilizing massively for the APC Governorship Candidate”.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello said he has been able to place the State on the path of sustained development.
” Within the period of service to the people of the State, I have built and improved infrastructure, Security, and recently made education in the State free at all levels in public primary and secondary schools”.
” I’m proud to State that we are leaving Kogi State better than we met it for those that will come after us”.
” Without exaggeration, APC will win the November 11 Governorship election with landslide. This is because our work, achievements and our party will speak for us. Kogi is APC and APC is Kogi State “.
In his remarks, the Kogi State All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo promised to build on the outstanding achievements of Gov. Yahaya Bello, assuring that if elected, the welfare of the people would be his administration s priority.
” I’m promising more youths and women inclusiveness in governance. My agenda for the State is Kogi agenda”, added that he will strive towards continuity and sustainability in the areas of security, education, agriculture, improved infrastructure amongst several areas the APC administration has made a mark.
He concluded that his mandate would be for the overall development of the State, stressed the improvement in the achievements of Gov Bello and in the wellbeing of his people as his priority.
