President Mohammadu Buhari has received the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The President received the APC Flagbearer alongside the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello at the Presidential Villa, Abuja
The President Congratulated the APC Flagbearer, described his emergence as the wish of the people.
President Buhari congratulated him, urged the APC Flagbearer and other stakeholders to work towards a landslide victory in the forthcoming November governorship election.
The President commended the APC primary that produced Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, described it as free fair and credible, call on other co contestants to join hands with him in achieving victory for the APC.
Earlier Gov. Bello said they are in the Villa to formally present the APC Flagbearer to the Leader of the party, seek his blessings.
Gov. Bello described Kogi State as an APC State, assured President Buhari of an overwhelming victory in the forthcoming November governorship election in the State.
In a remarks, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo assured of building on the legacies of President Mohammadu Buhari and that of Gov. Bello, assured of carrying along all shades of option.
