The Obidient movement 4 Muri Independent Campaign Council, inaugurated her State Executive Council in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital on Wednesday, July 26.
The Director General of the Campaign Council, Comrade Sunday Bala OMA, during his opening address, welcomed the Executives and appreciated them for the tireless efforts they are making, to ensure MuriSam 2023 mandate sees the light of day.
Dr Bala charged the newly inaugurated Executives, not to engage in politics of calumny, but politics of ideas, which the Principal, Hon Ajaka has been advocating.
The 5 pillar policy trust of MuriSam Agenda is focused on Education, Mass Housing for Kogites, revamping of our health sector, infrastructural turn around as well as human capital development. It will be a waste of time and energy to engage those who aren’t on same page with us, on non issue based campaign. To win them over, we must constantly enlighten them on the Muri Agenda for which we believe will turn around the fortune of the state in no small measure, OMA said.
He concluded by assuring the State Executives that all their concerns raised as regards the forthcoming election will be tabled before Hon. Muri Ajaka in their next meeting. Mr. Sunday also delivered the message of His Excellency Alhaji Muri Ajaka, for endorsing him, and assured them that he won’t dissapoint if elected.
The climax of the inauguration saw the Legal Adviser, Barr Atama Aminu administering the oath of office, while the members pledged their allegiance to the course.
