Nigeria Week London, a creative event by SRTV London, an organization that celebrates the best of Nigerians from around the world in film, food, fashion, music, excellence, leadership and achievement through awards, over last weekend, honoured a frontline Governorshp aspirant, in the Edo 2024 governorship election, Engr. Gideon Ikhine, aka, the Game Changer with an Award of Recognition.
The award ceremony which took place at the Famous Lighthouse Theatre, 262-274Camberwell Road, London, SE5 OAY, was a glamorous night, graced by the Nigeria High Commission in the UK.
Nigeria Week London 2023 is an admixture of Entertainment and Business events designed to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
The event which featured an array of Nigerian foods, films, art and culture, fashion, and music, was also an economic summit and an exhibition of numerous Nigerian agricultural produce.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Week in London project represents an unexploited property which provides a unique opportunity for Nigerians, Nigerian businesses and Creative professionals to enjoy unrivalled visibility and international public relation tools, with a cost to benefit ratio that could be really staggering as to its reach and impact.
Engineer Gideon Ikhine , one Of the award recipient was recognized for his sterling character, patriotism, impact and continuous positive projection of Nigeria around the world,
He was found as a deserving recipient of the Excellence Award as the “VISIONARY & PRAGMATIC LEADER OF THE YEAR” at the event.
Other deserving recipients of similar Awards, included the Governor of Kano State, HE, Abba Kabir Yusuf, Prince Sam Anwuzia, Founder of the prestigious ZAFAA awards, amongst others.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Mr. Ogbevire Ashaiku, “Nigeria Week event has come to stay and it will now be an annual event”.
