The Congress For Better Nigeria, have passed a vote of No confidence on the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa.

The Congress For Better Nigeria,
Barr. Zaccaeus Dare Michael, in a statement issued to Newsmen said the no confidence vote is hinged on the modus operandi of the EFCC Chairman.

Barr. Dare observed that the new method of operation of the Chairman which seeks to go after proceeds as against the pepetrators of the crime remains laughable.

The statement lamented that the EFCC on the Kogi issue is playing a Political tool, expressed disaffection that while the anti-corruption agency raised initial alarm of money in an account, went for the alledged proceed, only to later make a u-turn by going to withdraw the case.

In his words: ” Who opened an account on behalf of the State Government. Who was the signatory to fixing the account on behalf of the State Government. What documents did the person present”, said this and many questions are begging for answers from the CBN, explained that the State, Under Gov. Yahaya Bello remains focused and would not be distracted.
