Kogi Govt. Reiterates Commitment to Rural Development …. Commissions Town Hall, Borehole at Akutupa Kiri,


The Kogi State Government has reiterated its Commitment to making life Worth living for rural dwellers, insisting that it major priority is the well-being of the people.

Gov. Yahaya Bello gave the assurances at the commissioning of a Town Hall and Borehole at Akutupa Kiri, Kabba Bunu, LGA rehabilitated by the Kogi State Community and Social Development, said the present administration would not rest on its oars until the well-being of the people of rural dwellers is improved upon.

The Governor who was represented at the Commissioning of the Town Hall and Borehole, by Hon. Wemi Jones, Commissioner For Education Science and Technology, Commended the efforts of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, assured of more intervention in other communities in the State.

Gov. Bello disclosed that the administration has intervened in several communities, assured that the thematic areas of education, health and empowerment would continue to get attention within available resources geared towards improving on the lives of the people.

Speaking, the General Manager, CSDA, Mallam Momoh Dauda, said the intervention was aimed at improving the lots of the people, promised to do more in the future.

Highlight of the event was the Commissioning of the Town Hall and Borehole Projects at Akutupa Kiri.

 

The Commissioner also led the management team of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency to Government Secondary School Iluke, razed by fire.
