Scores of individuals, stakeholders, support groups and party stalwarts across Kogi State have today expressed and reaffirmed their readiness to work assiduously for the success of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) in the forthcoming governorship election.
The support groups and party stalwarts made their disclosure today when they visited the Personal Assistant to Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman Hon. Comr Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege at his Residence in Lokoja on Saturday 27 May, 2023.
The group, Eika Youths For Ododo led by Comr Baba Abbas, While donating two branded vehicles on behalf of the Eika Youths for Ododo insisted that they were endeared to the APC candidate as a result of his unique character and cosmopolitan approach to consultations ever since he emerged as the candidate of the party.
Comr Abbas further expressed optimism that a government of Alhaji Ododo will be geared towards deepened unification of various segments of Kogi State. Adding that, their endorsement and acceptance of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) is a prelude to campaign activities which according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is expected to officially commence by June, 2023.
In the same vain, the Progressives Agenda For Okehi Youths said, they have commenced the distribution of writing materials to school in Okehi LGA as ways of propagating the candidacy of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU)
Comrade Musa Hakeem who led the group in a meeting with Comr Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege promised to come up with more workable ideas to promote the APC Governorship Candidate who he described as the best among the governorship candidates in Kogi State.
Fancy Media Team (FMT) saw the numerous campaign teams that came in solidarity to support the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman and pledged to do more as soon as the campaign activities officially commence in no distant time.
