The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office For Disability Affairs, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael has sent a message of felicitations to Children, particularly those of the disability Community on the occasion of this year’s Children Day.
Barr. Dare in a statement issued to Newsmen, urged for more inclusiveness and opportunities for children with special needs.
While pointing out that more funding in the education sector for children with special needs, he used this years occasion to call for intervention in the health and other sectors of the economy for children with special needs.
The Executive Secretary described the theme for this year’s Children Day as very apt, called for more support that would enable children with special needs realize their potentials.
Barr. Dare congratulated children with special needs on the occasion of the 2023 children assured that the Kogi State Office For Disability would continue to strive to ensure that what is due to them to make them a part of policies and programs of the State Government.
