For his unflinching support and loyalty to the course of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, a former aspirant for Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency, Alhaji Abdulwasiu Issa has been given the title of Onizeiza (the truthful one)
The title was bestowed on Alhaji Abdulwasiu today in Adavi by Hon. Mataga Support Group for Ododo/Oyibo who described him as a unique philanthropist who has never gone weary of humanitarian services to the society.
The leadership of the group who had since declared their total support for the governorship bid of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) said Alhaji Abdulwasiu has won their hearts for the APC for fulfilling all his campaign promises despite not being able to clinch the party’s ticket in the last general election.
While extolling the virtues of Alhaji Abdulwasiu, Hon. Mataga who is the group Coordinator described him as special bred politician who does not abandon his campaign structure and promises despite not getting the party’s ticket to contest for the seat of Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency.
Hon. Mataga admonished other politicians in the state to emulate the selfless and philanthropic deeds of Alhaji Abdulwasiu, adding that he has abundantly demonstrated the very reasons people ought to seek public offices.
While responding, the excited Alhaji Abdulwasiu appreciated the group for finding him worthy of the title of Onizeiza. He reiterated that he was spurred to seek public office in order to contribute his quota to the development of the society through humanitarian services, adding that he would not renege on that even without political office.
Consequently, Alhaji Abdulwasiu passionately admonished the group to be more committed in their support for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for the forthcoming governorship election. He highlighted the numerous achievements of the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello led administration in the last seven years and assured them of consolidation when Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman comes on board as the Executive Governor of Kogi State.
