Ahead of the forthcoming Governorship elections in Kogi State, the former Auditor General for Local Government area Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo have received the confirmation and commitment of a notable Youths group in the state as their sole candidate that would enjoy their support during the election.
The Youths group Known as Kogi State Youth Rebirth Group throw their wight behind the former Auditor General for Local Government as their preferred Governorship Candidate for the forthcoming Guba elections in the state.
Leader of the Youth Group Comrade Shuaibu Godwin Omachonu made the position of his group known at a press conference and the unveiling of a book titled: ” ODODO A TEAM PLAYER SET TO SUSTAIN GOVERNOR BELLO’S LEGACY” held in lokoja today Wednesday April 5th, 2023.
In his speech presented at the occasion, Comrade Shuaibu Godwin Omachonu pointed out that ” Alhaji Usman Ododo has built bridges outside his immediate community of Uporogo.
He added Alhaji Usman Ododo is the only politician in Governor Yahaya Bello’s Cabinet to go outside his local government to construct a road ” as at today he has used his personal resources to construct a road in Adavi Local Government area “.
Comrade Shuaibu Godwin Omachonu stated that Alhaji Usman Ododo has empowered many people by providing the youths and women with skilled acquisition equipments like Tailoring Machines, Computers, barbing machines, hairdressers etc.
He said that Those equipments has helped in engaging our teeming Youths and women with Jobs and reduced vices in the state.
The Kogi State Youth Rebirth Group leader concluded that Alhaji Usman Ododo is a politician with mission, vision and focus to consolidate on the positive achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello if elected as the next Kogi State Governor.
Comrade Shuaibu Godwin Omachonu on behalf of Kogi State Youth Rebirth Group used the occasion to passionately plead with Kogi State APC delegates to vote for Alhaji Usman Ododo in the forthcoming Kogi State Governorship primary election.
