These were the words of Emeritus Professor, Salisu Attai Atakida, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress stalwart from Idah LGA, described, Dr. Sanusi as the best man to step into the shoes of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Speaking with the Nigerian Post in Lokoja, the Professor of Mathematics said he and other league of Professors and other intellectuals are seriously clamouring for Dr. Sanusi to be the next Governor, pointing out that he is eminently fit to do well if he emerge as the next Governor of the State.
While pointing out that the stakes for who govern the State in the forthcoming dispensation is not about religion, tribe, but the ability to deliver, said Dr. Ohaire has all it takes to close the gap of rural development and restore the lost glory of Kogi State.
While pointing out that the forthcoming Governorship election would be a defining moments for the State, reason why experience, capacity and ability to unite the various segments of the State should be the criteria to elect the next governor.
What Kogi State needs moving forward the Professor emeritus explained is a home base Technocrat, Administrator and Politician who has an understanding of the people of Kogi State, described Dr. Ohaire as having all it takes to reposition the State for infrastructure and economic development.
Prof. Salisu urged Dr. Sanusi to stay on course, pointing out that it would be a great disservice not to have him emerged as the APC Flagbearer and next Governor, described the calls from across the State to have him as the next governor as one borne out of the passion for purposeful leadership.
