KOGI GOV MOURNS OHI-EKURA OF EBIRALAND, ENGR SULE ALIU


 

Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has expressed deep shock over the death of the Ohi-Ekura of Ebiraland, Engr Sule Aliu.

The Royal Father, who is also the President, Supreme Council of Ebiraland died at the age of 79.

Governor Bello in a statement issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, described the death of the Royal Father as a big loss to the Central Senatorial District and Kogi State as a whole.

He described the late Royal Father as a father, mentor and role model, from whom he had learnt immensely from while growing up.

According to him, the late Ohi would be greatly missed for his wealth of knowledge and fatherly counsels that had engendered peace and unity in his domain and by extension, Ebiraland.

The governor, while commiserating with the immediate family of the deceased; the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and the people of the Central Senatorial District, prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased aljanna firdaus.
