KOGI FORMER DEPUTY GOVERNOR COMMISERATES WITH FAMILY OVER FMR. NASRDA DG’s DEATH


 

The former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba has commiserated with the family of the former Director General of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA), Late Professor Seidu Onailo Mohammed Ogah who passed on the 8th of August, 2022.

 

Elder Achuba, in a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester expressed sadness over the death of a man he described as an oracle of space science.

He said the late icon made his mark when he served the country as the DG of NASRDA, saying Nigeria has lost ‘a big brain”.

The former Deputy Governor said late professor Mohammed Seidu died at a time the state needs his competent and reliable hands to take it to its place of pride amongst other states of the federation.

He maintained that the deceased was a lover of the people and a unifier, saying he will be missed by Kogites and Nigerians at large.

Stating further that Professor Seidu’s demise was a tragic blow to Kogi State and Igala Land in particular, the former Deputy Governor urged the bereaved family and other sympathisers to take solace in God’s word.

He said Death is a necessary end and it will come when it will come, while praying God to grant his soul eternal rest.

The former Deputy Governor also urged the children of the deceased to keep the legacy of their father alive.
