Kogi Flags off Covid19 Vaccination


 

Says no one would be deprived from the Vaccines

The Kogi State Government has officially flagged off the vaccination of citizens for Covid19 with a pledged that
nobody would be deprived from taking the Covid19 Vaccines.

The State Commissioner For Health, Dr. Haruna Saka made the disclosure at the official flag off of the vaccination of citizens in the State.

The Commissioner added that while no one would be denied the from taking the Vaccines, says it is also the resolve of the State Government not to compel any individual in the State.

The Commissioner disclosed that the State Government received about 16,900 unit of the Vaccines, said another 16,900 of Astraneca Oxford vaccine is being expected in the State in a couple of weeks.

Dr. Saka Commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for his proactive measures towards protecting the lives of its citizens, thanked him for making the Vaccines available to people of the State.

Highlights of the flag off of the vaccination was it administration on some officials of Government amongst whom is Dr. Abubakar Yakubu, the Executive Director of Kogi State Primary Health Care Development Agency.
