The massive investment of Gov. Yahaya Bello in the Education Sector has once again received commendation by the Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones.
Hon. Jones applauded the massive investment in the Education Sector as is presently witnessed in the State while speaking with Newsmen at the sidelines of the currently ongoing 1st International Management, Enterpreneurship and leadership conference (FIMECON), organised by the Faculty of Management Sciences, Kogi State University in collaboration with Association of Management Development Institutions in Pakistan at the Management,(Middle) Lecture Theatre, Kogi State University, Anyigba.
The theme of the conferences is Managing The Impact OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC: LEADERSHIP, ENTERPRENEURSHIP AND CHANGE IMPERATIVE, said the improve budgetary allocation to Education Sector which hit the 30% mark in 2022 underscores the Governor’s passion for development.
Hon. Jones described the State’s Education law as another milestone, said it is come several years after the state’s creation, but expressed optimism that it has started making the desired impact assured that it would mark the turning point for quality Education in the State.
While at the program, the Commissioner also inspected some ongoing projects in the faculty of Law, Faculty of Management Sciences and other on going projects in the university, commended Gov. Bello for investing massively in education
The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and technology Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB alongside Honorable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planing, Hon. Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA are attending the conference.
