Represented by the Deputy, Governor, His Excellency, Chief Edward Onoja at a zoom meeting, joins the delegate to explore areas of collaborations and opportunities for the economic development of the State.
The Lieutenant Governor of Delaware, upon receiving the Kogi state team expressed satisfaction with the team, while lauding the Governor of Kogi State for taking such a giant stride towards the economic development of the state.
The team, led by the Hon. Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Idris.
Other team members on this visit includes the Hon Commissioners for Health, Dr. Saka Haruna, Agriculture Honourable David Apeh, Rural Development, Honourable Daniel Ejigbo, Managing Director/CEO Kogi Enterprise Development Agency (KEDA), Hajiya Rekiya Onaivo Sanni, SA to the Governor on Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Medinat Anako and Ambassador Aina Olusuji, Alternate Chairman of the Kogi State Economic Advisory Council.
Earlier this year, the Delaware Africa Caribbean Coalition (DACC) had visited Kogi State to asses the business opportunities in the State. The visit has neccecitated the Kogi State Government delegation to trip to Delaware, USA.
The team will be expected to meet the expanded members of DACC, business leaders in the areas of Health, Education, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Youth & Empowerment and other explorable sectors so as to provide opportunities for the promotion of economic development of the state.
