ACTION PEOPLE’S PARTY (APP) AND FIVE OTHER POLITICAL PARTIES AND CANDIDATES CONTESTING FOR KOGI EAST SENATORIAL ELECTION DECLARE SUPPORT FOR DR.VICTOR ALEWO ADOJI OF PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) FOR KOGI EAST SENATE
The decision of Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji to join the 2023 senatorial race in Kogi East is not a desperate quest for-enrichment, a superfluous chase after self-aggrandizement, a quixotic adventurism on the podium of our national politics or an attempt to pursue hedonistic political careerism in any form.
No. Rather, he is genuinely inspired to throw his hat in the ring so as to provide credible, authentic, altruistic and unparalleled high quality alternative for our people, at the highest level of law making in the land.
Those who knew him when he served in the banking sector, knew him as a dogged fighter. He wants to deploy this God-given attribute to make a difference in the overall interest of the good people of Kogi East.
The presence of Dr. Adoji in the national assembly in 2023 will help to usher in a period of socio- re-engineering and improved national development, bring about a reduction in poverty rate, promote fair-play and justice, create massive jobs, improve security, thereby leading to peace and unity in the land.
The truth must be told here, that many things are working in Victor’s favour through the intervention of the Almighty God. He has strong willed, full of energy, loaded with wisdom, knowledge, good-will of the people and above all God’s divine support on his side.
He is coming to inject fresh blood and new ideas into governance. Get me clear, Kogi East needs a leader like Victor who understands the pains and struggles of our people, he will work for the common interest of all. What has been lacking in Kogi East is the absence of committed leaders who have taken their followers for granted for too long. Dr. Adoji, the Okura-Alloma born politician and entrepreneur is determined to change the past ugly narrative.
Recently, APP and five other Political Parties endorsed Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the best Kogi East senatorial candidate for 2023 election.
Parties listened to various senatorial candidates during Kogi East Decide held on the 2nd February, 2023, at Idah, after careful analysis and juxtaposing various variables such as capacity, and competency, have all come to conclude to endorse Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji of PDP, as the sole best candidate for Kogi East Senate in 2023 election.
The several reasons have been advanced for his endorsement such as: Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji is the most accessed, best in human capital development, the most articulated in terms of proffering solutions to multiple challenges in Igalaland.
He has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Igala Kingdom in several areas especially in the area of education, empowerment, health care delivery and physical development.
As a true achiever right from his earliest youth, Victor Adoji has simply demonstrated his love for the Igala people. In the banking sector, he was instrumental in giving several Igala citizens the opportunity to serve and work with the financial world in different capacities over the years till date.
He used his position throughout his professional life to facilitate assistance to our people. Through him also, hundreds of others have been fixed into dignified employments in the private sector.
Hundreds of indigent Kogites from the eastern part of Kogi State with life-threatening ailments have been treated by Dr. Victor Adoji at his own expenses.
His stewardship to humanity, compassion and love for the poorest of the poor in his humanitarian activities is uncommon amongst the overall candidates that has ever sought for this office in the red chambers, we’ve no iota of doubt that he’ll deliver dividends of democracy to Igala Kingdom and Kogi State at large.
Adoji’s cosmopolitan view and exposure are added advantage to him in the National Assembly. Above all, his educational qualification in diverse fields of human endeavours, no wonder he was adjudged to be the best in the forthcoming election for Senate in Kogi East and the Igala Kingdom in particular.
Our interaction with him on his agenda for the Igala Kingdom, he was able to show a clear copy of his social contract document with the people, he clearly spelt out without ambiguity on how best to achieve them.
We as a group of political parties therefore present to you Dr. Victor Alewo Adoji of PDP to be fully supported by all Igala sons and daughters home and in Diaspora because of his capacity, competence and character displayed so far before, during his campaign and physically engaging in public debate to outline his vision and mission in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Coalition shall work hard to ensure massive mobilization of our entire members to support this young man whose time has come to move Igala Kingdom and the entire Kogi East to the path of development by the grace of almighty God.
Also, his eloquent and analytical debate held at Idah with other senatorial candidates from Kogi East truly distinguished him from the rest pack, he spoke clearly on what he intends to achieve if voted into the senate and to the admiration of prominent Igala and Bassa sons and daughters that graced the interactive session, he received standing ovation at the event.
His brilliant and outstanding discussion prompted six other Kogi East senatorial candidates to endorse him and agreed to work for his victory.
Dr. Victor Adoji remains the only antidote for a progressive and better Kogi East. Support for him is a support for democracy and development in Kogi East. So far so good, he is on the right pedestal, and one thing is sure about him, he will always be there for everyone from Kogi East and Nigeria.
