Kogi East Politics: Ofu Youths Pledge Support for Aminu Abubakar Suleiman Ahead of 2027 Elections
Idah, Kogi State — Youth leaders from Ofu Local Government Area have pledged their strong support for QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman FNIQS as part of ongoing mobilization ahead of the forthcoming election cycle.
The endorsement was made during a strategic engagement held at the residence of QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman in GRA, Idah, where the youths gathered to deliberate on a coordinated and seamless roadmap toward the 2027 political process.
The youth leaders declared their commitment to work tirelessly for the emergence of Aminu Abubakar Suleiman in both the party primaries and the general elections, describing him as a credible leader with vision, accessibility, and a genuine passion for the development of Kogi East and the Igala Kingdom.
They stated that their decision was informed by his consistent engagement with grassroots stakeholders and his demonstrated capacity for effective representation.
In his response, QS Aminu Abubakar Suleiman expressed appreciation to the Ofu youths for their solidarity and confidence in his aspiration. He assured them of his continued commitment to service and development, pledging to remain accessible and responsive to the needs of the people if given the mandate.
Among the youth leaders present at the meeting were Abdul Kerim, Youth Leader, Ofu; Arowa Achaba, Secretary, Ofu; and CD Ali, Delegate, alongside other coordinators who reaffirmed their dedication to the political course.
The group concluded by calling on other youths across Kogi East to remain united and focused in building a stronger political front ahead of the upcoming elections.
