Kogi Deputy Governor Describes Engr. Abubakar Ohere as both an excellent office and a field man


 

Commends constant monitoring of several ongoing projects by Engr. Ohere as commendable.

 

The Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja has commended Engr. Abubakar Ohere, the Commissioner for Works and Housing for his on the ground presence in almost all the ongoing projects the State Government is embarking upon.

The Deputy Governor, Chief made the disclosure while inspecting ongoing works at the President Mohammadu Buhari Civic Centre Lokoja and several others in the state capital yesterday, said Engr. Ohere’s constantly being on the ground to ascertain quality and standard is reason why the State is getting value for money and the desired impact urged him to sustain the feat.

Chief Onoja said it is one thing to be an office man, but said it is another thing to be both an excellent office man and a field man, praised the constant monitoring of several ongoing projects in the state as commendable and should be encourage.

The Deputy Governor described the Commissioner for Works and Housing as a thorough breed professional who has justified his calling in the field of engineering, appreciated all the manpower employed for all the projects ongoing in the state.

The Deputy Governor maintained that if in six years Kogi State can witnessed such a marvel under Gov Yahaya Bello it goes to show that the country would be better for it if he moves to a higher office said Nigerians are watching.

Chief Onoja who could not hide his joy at the combination of quality and standard the several projects sites he visited has attained and in quality, described the Civic Centre as a masterpiece, the Specialist Hospital as a wonder to behold, the Ganaja Flyover as a game changer in the state’s history and the GYB Model Science Secondary School as Unprecedented.

The Deputy Governor explained that what Kogi State is witnessing is a promise fulfilled, pointed out that Gov. Bello had made a promise to do more in his second term, described the outstanding infrastructure development to a promise fulfilled.

The Deputy Governor maintained that from the ongoing Civic Centre to the Specialist Hospital, Ganaja Flyover Bridge, the GYB Model schools, described the project as a combination of legacies and Impact that would change the face of Infrastructure in the state.

The Deputy Governor maintained that aside providing a befitting places for events and recreation, the Civic Centre remains a big market for revenue generation.

The Deputy Governor described Gov. Bello as a miracle worker urged Nigerians traversing the State to help tell the story that Kogi State is working with the country waiting for Gov. Bello.

Earlier in his remarks, the Commissioner for Works and Housing Engr. Abubakar Ohere the described the President Mohammadu Buhari Civic Centre as an improvement on the eagle square Abuja, described the vision of Gov. Bello in making the project a reality as a passion to improve revenue generation, entertainment, leisure and improve on the aesthetic beauty of the State capital.
