By joshua Kogi Delegates Join Northern Leaders at Arewa for Asiwaju National Inauguration
The Kogi State Chapter of Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) has welcomed the unveiling of the organisation’s National Headquarters in Abuja which took place on Saturday, describing the occasion as a significant milestone in strengthening its organisational structure and expanding its activities.
The unveiling ceremony, performed by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, attracted prominent political leaders and stakeholders from across Northern Nigeria.
The Kogi State delegation was led by the State Coordinator, Pharm. Chief Abdulkareem Jamiu Mohammed (Asuku) and included other distinguished state executives.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of serving governors, former governors, senators, members of the House of Representatives, and other eminent personalities.
Among those in attendance were former Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON, who is the Deputy National Coordinator, North Central and member board of trustees, A4A.
Others include former Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu; former Yobe State Governor, Ibrahim Gaidam; and former Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Deputy President of the Senate, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were also among the distinguished dignitaries at the occasion.
The Kogi State delegation also included the state secretary, Dr. Anthony Edogbo, the zonal Coordinators for Kogi East, West and Central, Hon. Rabiu Alfa, Hon. Femi Owoniyi and Hon. Barikisu Ohunene, respectively.
Others include the Director of Mobilisation, Hon. Abah Samuel Eleojo, the state youth director, Comrade Jegede Onotu, the state director of women affairs for East, West and Central, Hon. Halimotu Amodu, Hon. Khadija Suleiman and Hajia Bilkis Okuku.
The Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima who formally unveiled the head office and campaign structure described A4A as the think thank of the North for the Asiwaju 2027 Project. He expressed a firm belief that the North has spoken with a resounding voice and unmistakable conviction in its support for the President.
The Director General of A4A, Abubakar Badaru Mohammed, stated that the emergence of the group was borne out of the conviction that President Tinubu and his deputy have performed well and deserve to be re-elected.
Former Governor Yahaya Bello, assured the President and APC leadership that the message of continuity and completion of the Tinubu administration’s transformational works would be taken to every nook and cranny of Kogi, North central, and entire Northen Nigeria, using the A4A network across the region and beyond.
Speaking on behalf of the Kogi State Chapter, the State Coordinator described the unveiling as an important step towards enhancing coordination, strengthening grassroots mobilisation, and consolidating the organisation’s presence across Northern Nigeria.
The State Coordinator also called on Kogites to across to join hands together in supporting Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in delivering dividends of democracy for the state. Pharm. Asuku assured the Governor that A4A Kogi has every reason to support the state government, saying the Governor has built an inclusive environment, bringing everyone together, towards a peaceful and progressive state. He thanked Governor Ododo for his strong interest and support of the movement in Kogi state.
The Kogi State Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to working collaboratively with the national leadership and other state structures to advance the objectives of Arewa for Asiwaju.
The chapter also called on its members and coordinators across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State to remain committed, united, and prepared for the responsibilities ahead as the organisation moves into a new phase of activities.
The unveiling signals a new chapter for A4A, with renewed emphasis on organisation, coordination, and active engagement at all levels.
The Kogi State Chapter congratulates the national leadership on this milestone and wishes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC, and Arewa for Asiwaju continued success.
