Special Adviser to Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State on Cocoa Produce, Mr. Paul Ndik, has joined millions of well-wishers across the state and beyond to celebrate his principal on the occasion of his 67th birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by him and made available to newsmen, Ndik described Governor Otu as a visionary leader whose life has been dedicated to selfless service and the prosperity of Cross River State.
According to him, the Governor’s People-First mantra has within a short period rekindled hope among Cross Riverians and placed the state on a path of sustainable growth and economic revival.
The Cocoa Produce SA particularly lauded the Governor for his strategic attention to the cocoa sub-sector, noting that Otu’s deliberate investment in cocoa development has shown his deep understanding of the state’s comparative advantage.
“Your support for cocoa development, which is the mainstay of our state’s economy, is a testament to your resolve to return Cross River to its pride of place as the nation’s leading cocoa producer,” Ndik stated.
He prayed for sound health, uncommon wisdom and greater strength for the Governor as he continues to steer the affairs of the state to greater heights.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and the entire cocoa value chain in Cross River State, I heartily felicitate with His Excellency on his 67th birthday,” the statement added.
