Kogi Council election: Engr Bashir Gegu Endorse Hon. Musa Abdulmalik As Kogi Chairmanship APC Candidate.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources Engr Bashiru Gegu has endorsed the candidature of Hon. Musa Abdulmalik, the immediate caretaker Chairman, as the APC flag bearer for the October 19, Council election.
Engr. Bashiru Gegu assured of total victory for the party, described Kogi LGA as an APC domain.
He assured of continued dividend of democracy and effective leadership of the Council Chairman when elected.
He warned against complacency in the election, said the APC will win overwhelmingly in the election.
” We are looking at scoring over 90% votes in the election. I urged us to be steadfast in supporting the APC and be rest assured that we it is a new dawn”.
Recalled that the APC stakeholders recently collectively agreed on zoning the Chairmanship to Zone C, saying the zonal arrangement is healthy to democracy and will promote fairness, equity and accountability.
