Kogi Commissioner Engr. Bashiru Gegu To Be Honoured with Fellowship of Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute

 

Lokoja – The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu, has been selected to receive the Fellowship of the Nigeria‑Korea Friendship Institute (NKFI) – the highest honour conferred by the Institute.

In a statement issued to newsmen and signed by the Rector, Dr. Williams Charles, the Management of the Nigeria‑Korea Friendship Institute, Lokoja, announced the decision, noting that Engr. Bashiru’s exceptional contributions, unwavering support, and commitment to the growth, visibility, and advancement of technical and vocational education in Kogi State warranted the prestigious fellowship.

The Institute further stated that his leadership and partnership have significantly strengthened NKFI’s mandate, and his impact is considered invaluable.

The Fellowship Award will be formally presented to Engr Bashiru during the Institute’s scheduled official engagement.
