Kogi College of Nursing Obangede Commences Computer Based Test, Basic Nursing Programme


 

Kogi State College of Nursing and Midwifery Obangede says it has commenced Computer Based Test (CBT).

Provost of the College, Doctor Hannah Abraham who made this known in an interview with our Reporter said the move was part of her commitment in upgrading the Institution from manual to digital system of administration.

According to her, the first Computer based test was conducted during the recent entrance examination of the College and it was successful saying staff have been trained on the new technology.

Doctor Hannah also said the Nursing Council of Nigeria had directed Colleges of Nursing to embrace the current digitization as the world is technology driven.

The Provost restated the determination of Management to transform the college to one of the best rated institutions in the country.

She maintained that the School is running Basic Nursing programme saying Midwifery, Public Health and Dental Nursing would soon commence.

Doctor Hannah pointed out that the infrastructure in the college will be upgraded soon as the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello is passionate to complete all ongoing projects.

She called on Students of the College to study hard as the state government has created enabling environment for teaching and learning.

The Provost commended the Commissioner of Health Doctor Saka Haruna for doing his best in the school prayed God to grant the Governor and members of his cabinet wisdom to move the state to greater height.
