The chief of staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharmacist Asuku Abdulkareem Jamiu has described Governor, Yahaya Bello as the source of his inspiration in the.public service.
Alhaji Asuku Jamiu stated this in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.
He described Governor Bello as his strength and inspiration in his quest to serve humanity in public office.
“When you saw the “strength” above, you wonder what it means. It means you. You are my strength. You are my inspiration. You are the reason Pharm. Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu (Asuku) want to continue to serve humanity”.
He appreciated God Almighty for His mercies and benevolence to him and his family and also thanked Governor Bello whom he described as his leader and the leader of his generation for offering him a platform to serve.
He prayed to God to bless him and grant him more wisdom to continue to pilot the affairs of Kogi state and the nation at large.
The chief of staff also appreciated members of the New Direction family across Nigeria, saying that the “New Direction” has become a nationwide movement of men and women , young minds who believe in a greater Nigeria.
He also expressed gratitude to friends, well wishers and admirers across the state and the nation at large for making out time to celebrate with him on the occasion of his birthday
“To the youth of our dear State, you have demonstrated our bond as a group which is casted in iron as we prepare for the task ahead, I say a big thank you. You are indeed, leaders of today. GYB has put us at the centre of decision making in Kogi State, it is therefore not a surprise that you are craving for the godsent Governor to step up to the next level. He won’t disappoint you”
He promised never to forget the memory of the social media traffic jam in celebration of his birthday and appealed to the youth to eschew violence and seize the window of opportunity provided by the Governor to contribute positively to the society.
