All arrangements have been completed and barring any unforeseen circumstance, the Kogi State Government will begin the Payment of April salaries and pension today.
The State Government yesterday received its share of the Federation Allocation weeks after the Federation Allocation Account Committee shared the March Allocation.
The delay in the payment of salaries for April in the State was occasion by the delay in the release of the March Allocation even after the Federation Account Committee meeting which held in April.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris assured that payment of April salaries and pension will start this evening and hopefully by tomorrow morning everyone will be paid.
Recalled that Kogi State like several other states had delay in receiving her March allocation.
