…. Set to distribute 10,000 science text books across three Senatorial district.
The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology recently introduced the “Kogi School Adoption and Mentorship Programme”.
The primary objective of the programme is to revive the lost glory of education in our State through interventions from all stakeholders like Political Office Holders, Religious rulers, Traditional rulers, Entrepreneurs, Senior Civil Servants, Community Based Leaders, Union Leaders, and Old Students Associations.
It is delightful to note that the initiative has been greatly patronized by well-meaning Kogites. One of such is Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Auditor General of Local Government, who has deemed it fit to produce Physics and Chemistry Textbooks for public secondary schools across Kogi State.
The books are titled Chemistry Made Easy and Physics Made Easy. These books were reviewed by the relevant Directorate of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to confirm their suitability for use by our secondary schools.
It is on this note, we are pleased to invite you to the flag-off and distribution of these textbooks to Senior Secondary Schools in Kogi Central.
