Kogi ALGON Chair Commissions 8 Rural Projects, Praises GYB and World bank.


 

Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency has been praised for it’s numerous contribution to the developmental strides of the New Direction Government.

 

 

Chairman of Ijumu local government Council and Kogi ALGON Chairman, Alhaji Taufiq Isah gave the commendation at the Inauguration of some of the agency’s supported projects in the local government.

 

Alhaji Taufiq explained that the numerous projects executed across the state by the agency has brought the dividends of democracy closer to the grassroots and contributed immensely to realization of the New Direction Blueprint.

The Chairman commended the General Manager of the agency, Mallam Momoh Dauda for prioritizing the needs of vulnerable groups and communities, noting that the Mallam Dauda has justified his appointment through the agency’s supported projects.

While urging the agency not to relent efforts at providing for communities and groups, he appealed for more projects to be situated in the local government.

General Manager of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Mallam Momoh Dauda commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his support to the agency and attributed the successes of the agency to Governor Bello’s commitment to developing rural Communities.

He urged the people to sustain their support for the present Administration to help create an enabling environment for more dividends of democracy and called on them to protect the projects against vandals.

Projects inaugurated are a rehabilitated town hall and classrooms, a fully equiped skills acquisition center and a solar power generating sets for a health center in Aiyetoro gbede, a clinic and a block of 2 classrooms in Illuhaba as well as a town hall and skills acquisition center in Agoh Aiyegunle all in Ijumu local government area.
