Kogi @ 33: Jubilation As Lounge 1 Bags leading hospitality, Relaxation Outfit Award in Lokoja.
It was a convergence of opinions by participants at this year’s The Nigerian Post Newspaper annual public lecture as Lounge 1, a leading hospitality and Relaxation Outfit in Lokoja bagged The Nigerian Post Newspaper Kogi @ 33: Entertainment /Hospitality Award.
Speaking at the occasion before the presentation of the award to Hon. Paul Ukwenya, MD Lounge 1, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha and Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni, former Minister for Labour and Employment, urged Lounge 1 to sustain the feat that has made it a leading hospitality brand.
They commended Lounge 1 for the Serene environment that the relaxation joint provides to the people of Lokoja.
Speaking at the ceremony, Abu Michael, Publisher, the Nigerian Post Newspaper, added that Lounge 1 provides a home away from home for fun seekers, adding that it is located in the heart of the State capital with maximum Security.
He said side the fun and entertainment aspect of the outfit, Lounge 1 has equally carried out corporate social responsibilities for it immediate community, and provided wheel chairs to those in need.
In his remarks, Hon. Paul Ukwenya, MD CEO Lounge 1, assured of more service delivery to the people, pointing out that with the harsh realities provided by the economy, Lounge 1 strives to provide quality services for residents to unwind after a hard day’s work.

The 2024 public lecture wad Chaired by Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni, former Minister of State, Labour and employment.
His Royal Majesty, the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu served as the Royal father of the day.
