Kogi @ 33: High Chief Meka Bags Outstanding Peace Maker, Philanthropist Award.
High Chief Meka Sylvanus Adesina, Community Leader/Philanthropist has been described as a true peace maker and a true Philanthropist indeed, with others asked to emulate his footsteps.
The accolades where showed on High Chief Meka Sylvanus Adesina when he bagged the Nigerian Post Newspaper Community Leader/Philanthropist cum peace maker Ward
as the 2024 Most Outstanding outstanding peace maker and Philanthropist Award at the Nigerian Post Newspaper annual public lecture.
Chief Meka got the outstanding award following his efforts in peace building and efforts to unify the people of Ogori Magongo LGA for sustained political development.
Similarly his accomplishments, in ensuring that the people of Ogori Magongo LGA in the State joined the mainstream was commended.
Participants at this year’s The Nigerian Post Newspaper annual public lecture where the award was presented to Chief Meka, praised the Philanthropist when he bagged The Nigerian Post Newspaper Kogi @ 33 Award As Most Outstanding peace maker and Philanthropist Award.
Speaking at the occasion before the presentation of the award to Chief Meka, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha and Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni, former Minister for Labour and Employment, urged and commended Chief Meka, pointing out that he has remained an effect instrument per excellence in bringing peace to Ogori-Magongo LGA, urged him to sustain the feat that has made him a brand for positive reference.
They commended They praised Chief Meka for his selfless service to the people of the State, praised his Philanthropic gestures to the people.
Speaking at the ceremony, Abu Michael, Publisher, the Nigerian Post Newspaper, added that Chief Meka has proven over time that with deliberate efforts, people of Ogori Magongo LGA can speak with a voice and advocate sustained development
He said added that the Chief Meka has equally carried out corporate social responsibilities for his immediate community, and provided helping hands to people in need.
In his remarks, Hon. Dare Adesina assured of more service delivery to the people of Ogori Magongo LGA, pointing out that he will always strive to provide quality services on behalf of the State.

The 2024 public lecture wad Chaired by Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni, former Minister of State, Labour and employment.
His Royal Majesty, the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu served as the Royal father of the day.
