Kogi @ 31: Project Coordinator ACReSAL, Barr. Ladi Jatto Describes Gov. Bello As Architect, Builder of Modern Kogi, Felicitates Kogites.


 

The Kogi State Coordinator, Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto has congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello and the good people of Kogi State on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the state, described Gov. Bello’s unprecedented achievements as making him the Architect and builder of modern Kogi.

 

In a statement made available to journalists, Barr. Ladi noted that Governor Bello has taken physical infrastructure, human investment, health care, education and agriculture in the State to a whole new level, described the Governor as a blessing to the State.

Barr. Ladi particularly acknowledged the outstanding performances of Gov. Yahaya Bello in the control of environmental degregation in the state since creation, described him as most performed Governor in the State history.

Barr. Ladi while acknowledging how far Kogi has come in the comity of states in the country, noted that the administration of Gov Yahaya Bello has built Kogi State on the legacies laid by our heroes past.

“This year’s anniversary is remarkable given the way we have surmounted our challenges and utilized our opportunities” Hon. Karimi disclosed.

“Gov. Bello’s unprecedented leadership has improved the quality of life of citizens and residents of Kogi. I therefore join millions of Kogites to commend the architect and builder of new Kogi for the progress so far.” he added

“As the State marks its 31st year, on behalf of the Management and Staff of ACReSAL and people of our dear State, I wish the State a new dawn of greater possibilities.” the statement said.

Barr. Ladi urged Kogi citizens to maintain a peaceful co-existence and continue to be good ambassadors, stressing that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancour.

Kogi State was created on August 27, 1991 during the Military government of General Ibrahim Babangida.
