KGIRS FELICITATES WITH ALHAJI USMAN AHMED ODODO 


 

The Management and entire Staff of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), under the leadership of Alhaji Sule Salihu Enehe, the Executive Chairman of the Service, wish to felicitate the Governor-elect of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his Deputy, Comrade Joseph Oyibo Salifu, for their resounding victory at the polls on the November 11, 2023, Kogi State Gubernatorial Election, under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

The felicitation was contained in a statement made by the Executive Chairman on Sunday, 13th of November, 2023, in Okene where he exercised his franchise to participate in the just concluded election.

In his words, the Chairman noted that the will of the people has once again been translated at the polls. He cited the importance of the strength of unity of the people of Kogi State as the election has come to show that there is unity in diversity and also a testament to the “One Kogi Agenda” that the current administration of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has laboured to achieve.

The Executive Chairman also specially congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for his uniqueness in leadership that will forever remain indelible in the hearts of all Kogites. The Chairman also acknowledged the Governor’s achievements over the years as unprecedented and thanked him for not falling short of expectations despite the challenging times and turns that he met and encountered.

The Executive Chairman further sent his hearty congratulations to the entire citizens of Kogi State for a free and free election. He noted that this is a common win for all, regardless of any party affiliations as we all still have our Kogi in one piece after the process; a process which has clearly defined all Kogites as winners of the just concluded elections.

The Executive Chairman further urged every contestants to work with the new government for the greater good of the common all.

Finally, the Executive Chairman prayed for God’s wisdom, guidance and understanding to be bestowed on the new Governor-elect to work out exploits in the State and do exceedingly greater than has been recorded in the State, even as he prayed for him for a successful tenure in long life and good health.
