Surv. Jonathan in a message issued to Newsmen, especially appreciated Gov. Yahaya Bello who has set the right Agenda for Kogi State politically and for the incoming Governor and his Deputy, Governor ODODO AHMED USMAN and JOEL OYIBO
Surv. Zacchaeus Jonathan who is the convener of good governance and grassroots mobilizer for Ododo for Governor in his message sent his heartfelt congratulations to Gov. Yahaya Bello and his Flower boy ODODO as the incoming Governor of Kogi State.
It will be recalled that Rev Zacchaeus Jonathan delivered his polling unit amidst a very strong opposition from the Deputy Governor to the SDP Governor’s challenge in his ancestral Land Igahachi Community.
Rev Zacchaeus Jonathan came out victorious against his challenger with a total vote of 472 as against 302 votes on his ancestral land IGAHACHI Community which host five polling units namely
Igbonla
Akpomi oba
Bakomba
Crusher
Gadan Shagari
all in Lokoja local government area of kogi state.
It will also be recalled that Rev Zacchaeus Jonathan a very forthright politician withdrew his case from Court to enable the House of Representatives Member from his constituency Hon Danladi Aguye to have free sail without any re run of his elections again because of the very strong reason he has to nullify the election but choose to tow the path of peace, when his party Logo was omitted during the presidential and National Assembly elections in February 2023.
That alone also endeared him to the white Lion of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state the demystifier of every force agenda that does not breed unity, to invite him to join APC as a critical stakeholder.
Hon Zacch as he is fondly referred accepted to work with Governor Yahaya Bello and that is already yielding political dividends within the constituency now.
Hon Zacch is sending a very joyful message to all across the state to come and join hands with the newly elected Governor to build the state of our dream.
He is also very happy to read in the newspaper that the opposition is not ready to go further in opposition by going to court which is a welcome development and a good sense of responsibility and maturity on the part of opposition. Together we can achieve better results he said.
