The Managing Director of Kogi Enterprise Development Agency, Ms Rekiya Onaivo Sanni, felicitates with every Kogites on this memorable day of Democracy, June’12. She joined all political leaders and managers of the Nation to eulogized the entrepreneurship spirit and dedication of the heroes and founding fathers of Democracy in Kogi State and Nigeria at large, as such were the hallmark of Entrepreneurs/Leaders.
She described how the entrepreneur eco-system in Kogi State has drastically evolved over the past six years under the leadership and governance of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya through government driven initiatives focusing on building awareness and various grants offered being the direct benefits of Democracy.
She further stressed that the entrepreneur eco-system in Kogi State has become a whole cultural movement towards a more entrepreneurial society and uncovered from both the public and private sector more application of modern business analytical tools for rural economic growth. While speaking during the visit of the EBIGO TEAM, the MD/CEO of KEDA posits that It is now the time where we can see that both the public and private sector are aligned as to the importance of building an entrepreneurial driven economy leveraging on the tenets of Democracy to reach various strategic state oriented policies as well as promoting the 10 years development plan of HE Governor Yahaya Bello, such as Youth Empowerment via Entrepreneurship development being the third on priority focus of the Kogi State Executive Governor.
“Having a positive environment and enforcement in a social-political economy is necessary to poster an effective entrepreneurial climate, she said. The passion for self-startups and risk-taking attitude are democratic leaders and entrepreneurs’ traits with effective motivations, innovation, creativity, persistence, and flexibility. This helps the entrepreneur succeed and excel in their business”, She said.
His Excellency’s priority in delivering dividends of Democracy and passion for Entrepreneurs growth strengthens Kogi State labour ecosystem’s attractiveness and encourages startup companies to establish and develop their respective sector.
Speaking further, Ms Rekiya Onaivo Sanni emphasised that Democratic leaders are in all ramifications an Entrepreneur sharing common growth challenges. She further proposed the inclusion of appropriate bodies to promote skills acquisition, Market analysis, business model development and financial matrix scopes.
To this end, She wishes the Nigerian Political Leaders, Youths and Entrepreneurs Happy Celebration of Democracy Day in Nigeria.
