Kabba: In no distant time, flooding will be a thing of the past, As Flood Ravages Iyah Area, Kabba Bunu CTC Chairman Assures
The Kabba Bunu Caretaker Committee Chairman, Barr Zacchaeus Dare Michael has assured that in no distant time, flood will be a thing of the past in Kabba.
The Chairman gave the assurance following the flood that badly ravaged Iyah area of the Local Government, with
Churches, clinics Houses, as well as Gas plants badly affected.
The damage caused by the flood is massive said the amount of damage is yet to be ascertianed but assured of the support of the State Government.
The Chairman notes that the attention of Government has been drawn to the flooding reason why through the Acresal Project that seeks to control the Erosion project at
Omigbo, soon the area will not witness such occurrence.
He said the State Government through the Ministry of Environment, ACRESAL has already mobilized Engineers to site in Kabba, promising that very soon it will be a success story.
Barr. Dare called for calm amongst residents assuring of immediate and long term solution to the flooding of Iyah area, assured of government attention in providing succour.
“In no distant time flood will be a thing of the past in Kabba”.
“Every instruments has been activated to put to an end the flooding”.
“Engineer are already on site, House affected have compensated and in no distant time flood will be a thing of the past in Kabba “, the Chairman assured.
