Kabba/Bunu PDP Youth Leader Visits Alma Mater 14 Years After, Makes Donation, and Calls for Support of Gov. Usman Ododo’s Visionary Leadership
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) youth leader for Kabba/Bunu Local Government, Comrade Oluwakayode Emmanuel Esseyin, also known as K12DNEXT, made a notable return to his alma mater, Prince Abubakar Audu University, Ayingba, previously known as Kogi State University. Esseyin’s visit coincided with a special event organized by the Department of Management Sciences, aimed at bringing together alumni and current students for a meaningful reunion and discussions on the department’s future.
As an alumnus and former student of the Department of Management Sciences, Esseyin contributed to the department through a donation and used the opportunity to call on the school’s Governing Council and student body to support the visionary leadership of Governor Usman Ododo, highlighting the positive impact it could have on Nigeria’s national development.
Reflecting on the event, Esseyin stated, “IT WAS A MEMORABLE DAY AT PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU UNIVERSITY, AYINGBA, KOGI STATE, AS THE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES HELD AN EVENT BRINGING TOGETHER ALUMNI AND CURRENT STUDENTS TO BRAINSTORM ON ADVANCING THE DEPARTMENT. UNDER THE DYNAMIC LEADERSHIP OF PROF. J.J. ORUNGU, IT WAS A WONDERFUL REUNION, GRACED BY NOTABLE FIGURES, INCLUDING PROF. U. OGBO, THE RECTOR OF KOGI STATE POLYTECHNIC, AND PROF. S. OCHENI, FORMER MINISTER OF STATE FOR LABOUR, WHO SHARED HIS PROFESSIONAL AND FATHERLY ADVICE WITH THE DEPARTMENT AND ME.”
Esseyin expressed his gratitude to the department for the invitation and encouraged all alumni, both within Nigeria and abroad, to contribute back to the university in any way they can, emphasizing that even the smallest contributions can make a difference.
