The Ex. Assistant Inspector General of Police, Abdulsalam Iyaji, has called on Igala sons and daughters to work for the unity, peace and prosperity of Igala land.

The ex police Boss made the call at Abejukolo, headquarters of Omala Local Government Council, during the burial of Prof. Seidu Oga, ex DG NASRDA held today Tuesday, 9th August, 2022.
AIG. Iyaji who noted that death as a necessary end will come without invitation, urged all igalas to work for the unity and progress of the people.
He said, the Late Prof Seidu Ogah has paid his dues, as he used his position to employ sizeable numbers of Igala sons and daughters, who are today contributing their quota to development of humanity.
He charged those in authority to use their offices to advance the cause of progress and prosperity of the people above other considerations, as no one knows when the journey of lives will end.
He urged the people to consider life in all its ramifications as transient, hence, it is the antecedents that will count when one has transited to glory.
He praised the late NARSDA boss, his classmate at Saint Charles College Ankpa , for his commitment to the growth of the people and development of Omala and indeed the entire Igala Kingdom.
He commended the Imam of Ankpa and Chairman Kogi state Council of Imams and his clerics and all those who graced the occasion and pray God to grant them Journey mercies to their various destinations.
While praying for the children and families to have fortitude to bear the loss, urged them to take solace in the good works that their father has done for humanity.
